For my Nov-Dec show I'm planning on displaying political, depression-related and music-related pieces. This is a simple piece of Sonny Rollins from a Blue Note session (I forget the date). Not perfect but I'm getting better at the realism thing.

Depression-related may be intentionally ambiguous, but I certainly felt like it was speaking of a chronological period in history...(again, perhaps accurate as well as ambiguous).

Ambiguous though unintentionally. I'm referring to clinical depression which has been one of the key motivators of my art.
You're correct that much of what I'm doing relates to times of depression (not necessarily economic).
Anyway I hope you like some of the stuff.
